Are all the works signed?
Each art work is signed on the front right hand corner by the artist. The painting's title is displayed on the back. A business card is taped to the back of the work so you can easily contact Maureen in the future.
How much do I pay for postage for my painting?
Postage is included in the price. Once you have paid for your painting it will be shipped to you at no further charge.
How are paintings shipped within Australia?
Within Australia, your painting is carefully framed and packed. It is courier-delivered by TNT.
What happens if the painting is to be shipped outside Australia?
If your painting is to be delivered to an address outside Australia it will arrive safely and undamaged.
We remove the staples then carefully detach the canvas from the wooden frame. The edges of the canvas are not removed. A sheet of tissue paper is placed over the canvas. Then the canvas is rolled, facing outwards, so the paint cannot crack. The rolled canvas is placed inside a strong cylinder, making it ideal to post.
When you receive your painting you can take it to a framer who will find it easy to frame.
Is it easy to change the colour of the mounting for works on paper?
If you want to change the mounting to a colour that matches your decor then simply take it to a framer and choose the mounting board. The painting will be easy to remove from the original mounting because the back of the painting is lightly taped to the mount.
Are all Maureen's paintings of standard dimensions?
Maureen also creates works of strikingly different dimensions.
If you are visiting Hobart you can view some of Maureen's 'long' paintings at The Timeless Way, in the IXL Complex, Hunter Street near the waterfront.
